PRODEX® has a systematic control of compliance with legal requirements, for it is entitled to the benefits of the Export Free Trade Zone regime, regularly audited by external bodies such as the Costa Rican Foreign Trade Promoter (PROCOMER). Besides, the company hired regular financial and performance auditing services to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
We contracted the services of ENLACE, a consulting firm specialized in identifying legal requirements applicable to the organization and evaluating compliance. This firm undertakes an annual legal compliance audit and updates a matrix with these requirements grouped by category.
The matrix identifies, under the Quality category, Law 7472 “Law on Promotion of Competition and Effective Consumer Protection,” included within the scope of the legal compliance audit.
The organization establishes policies on sales conditions, preventing unfair competition practices and protecting our distributors and key customers such as construction companies and construction consulting firms.
Additionally, the organization is a RIMA (Reflective Insulation Manufactures Association) member. This organization has a Code of Ethics to regulate unfair competition activities worldwide.
